A milestone: over 2 million scientific publications in NARCIS
Employees of WUR Library, together with a large cataloguing network in the science groups, have managed to raise the number of publications accessible through NARCIS to over two million. DANS congratulated the team with a cake!
2 million scientific publications
NARCIS now provides access to over 2 million scientific publications, 740,000 of which are open access. Half of the 2 million publications are journal articles, the other materials are: 180,000 book excerpts, nearly 200,000 reports, and over 100,000 theses.
The publications originate from Dutch universities, the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW), the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO), and other academic institutions such as RIVM, NIVEL, WODC, and the Universities of Applied Sciences (lecturers). Most publications that are not open access are still immediately accessible to the academic world through the institutional libraries.
You can find 228,000 Wageningen University & Research publications in NARCIS, 91,000 of which are open access.
Show your publications in NARCIS
You can showcase your publications in NARCIS by registering them in WUR's research information system Pure. Once in Pure, your research output automatically appears in NARCIS. Check the Pure pages on intranet for more information or contact the Pure team at the Library.
