Congratulations to Dr. Johannes Hohlbein for publishing his work in <L CODE="C02">Nature Communications</L>. The work demonstrates how highly-sensitive, fluorescence-based methods can be used to study the conformational equilibrium of DNA polymerase I and its interaction with DNA and ligands.

Dr. Hohlbein is continuing his research on DNA polymerases in the Laboratory of Biophysics and is currently looking for students with an interest in single-molecule biophysics."
