Climate Impact Webportal
In february the IS ENES workblock 5 group organised a session in Wageningen on the Climate Impact Portal. This portal orients towards climate change impact modellers, impact and adaptation consultants, as well as other experts using climate change data.
The portal is in its evaluation phase, so this work session was about improving the functionalities, such as the Mapping and Plotting tool and the Data Discovery function.
The portal was already evaluated by a group of users; they concluded the content on the site is very usefull and the tools are potentially suitable, but improvements have to be made. CALM team members have had an important role in organising the portal content and this working session. In a new IS ENES funding project, the portal will be launched this year.
