The effects of several methods of co-creation will be mapped. These methods are aimed at contributing to a more sustainable livestock sector.
Under the heading Design for System Innovation, the last few years several projects, which aimed to contribute to the sustainability of the livestock, were performed. These projects are characterized by a high degree of interactivity and workshop-like methods. Within these projects a toolbox is developed, merged under the name Reflexive Interactive Design (RIO). Depending on the context, the approach is quite different in the various projects. Over the years, a whole arsenal of methods arose, ranging from the traditional RIO method that delivers generic designs for an entire sector, to The New Livestock Farming, focusing on individual entrepreneurs with construction plans.
The goal of this project is to provide more insight into the effects of these different methods in different contexts. In addition, a comparison is made between the traditional RIO method (Well-Fair Eggs, Poultry with taste, Rabbits on Course in 2010 and 2011) and other projects on the principle of The New Livestock Farming.
