Would you like to raise your English fluency to the next level? In the Speaking & Pronunciation 2 course you will work on your speaking and listening skills. You will focus on your own stumbling blocks and will practice with the sounds that are challenging for you, but also with intonation and stress.
The course will be provided entirely online using the Virtual Classroom in Brightspace.
The English Speaking & Pronunciation 2 course is aimed at Bachelor’s or Master’s students who want to further develop their English fluency. This course is a continuation of the Speaking & Pronunciation 1 course, but can also be taken as a separate course.
C1 and higher (CEFR)
This course is based on your individual learning objectives. You will start with the work plan that you created during the Speaking & Pronunciation 1 course. You will extensively practice your speaking and listening skills, and there is ample opportunity for feedback. If you did not take Speaking & Pronunciation 1, then the lecturer will help you to create a work plan after an intake interview.
Before you can enroll for this course, we first ask you to take a Online Oxford Placement Test (OOPT) and submit an video or audio recording.
Step 2: Video or audio recording
To help the teacher to assess your individual pronunciation and speaking needs, please submit an video or audio recording of 2-3 minutes. Do not prepare or rehearse the recording or read a script but simply talk about yourself freely. You can introduce yourself, what you study and talk about your hobbies or interests. You might also mention which Speaking and Pronunciation areas you believe need more focus. Please click on the below button for more information and upload your file.
