Project
Evaluation of the Dutch food security programme
The Dutch 2000-2015 food security country programme in Ethiopia aims to increase food security and agricultural growth within an improved business climate and to improve Ethiopians’ access to more food.
Case 1: Ethiopia and the Integrated seed sector development project
The objective of this summative evaluation is to estimate the impact of the contribution of the Dutch-funded interventions to food security in Ethiopian. In particular we study the effects of the integrated seed sector development project (ISSD) on farmers’ livelihoods. We use a combination of propensity score matching and difference-in-difference techniques.
