How to handle copyright protected materials in your BlackBoard course
Using copyright protected material in readers and on Blackboard is allowed to a certain extent. However, university policy requires instructors to provide hyperlinks to documents instead of using the full text when possible. This policy reduces the annual fee that the university must
pay for copyrighted material.
From now on, course coordinators have to replace as many full-text documents with hyperlinks or literature references. Although there are clear instructions on the library website there might still be some uncertainties or bottlenecks. During this workshop we will explain you
how to handle your copyright protected material on Blackboard, we will show you how to link and we will help solving your bottlenecks. Please bring your laptop, so we can help you instantaneously.
