Land Conversion In Transitional China

As a student of the Land Use Planning Group, the Master thesis gave me the oppurtunity to fulfill my personnel ambition in the fascination of China.

A Case Study In Nanjing

I benefited from a great deal of education about spatial planning and its practices in Western countries. However, because of my personal background coming from a Chinese family, though my family is from Hong Kong originally, I still felt a lacking element. Therefore a closer view considerably into China with unique features of spatial planning, challenges of immense urbanization and transition attitude toward an open economy, waited for me to be explored and to be discovered. I used my ambition as the main motivator and with excellent support of Wageningen University my academic perspectives are enlighten.
