As the introduction of the European Farm to Fork strategy was launched in 2020, as part of the Green Deal, a lot of new questions were raised. In it’s attempt to make the world food system sustainable in the near future, the European Union shows great ambition. What consequences this might have for governments, agrifood business and agricultural and food related organisations, will largely depend on new legislation.
Why follow this course?
In this seminar we will anticipate on coming changes due to the European Farm to Fork strategy. This strategy intends to bring a lot of changes to the current agrifood systems that we know. To underline the need for these changes, a legilative framework is in development. In this seminar we anticipate on changes and consequences of these new food laws. In an interactive part we altogether discuss possible future scenario’s that may apply to direct environment of the participants of the seminar.

This course is interesting for proactive professionals that are responsible for regulatory affairs (policy) in the food industry, at law firms, in (non) governmental organizations and business consultants.

- Systematic approach to sustainability
- Food supply, security, safety, quality, labelling
- Nutrition profiles like Nutriscore and other initiatives on food composition
- Business responsibility, competition law & public procurement
- How to prepare for the coming F2F legislation (monitoring, priorities, business impact, proactive approach)
