The Annual Introduction Days (AID) for first-year students have begun on Friday, 19 August. Unlike the previous two years, there are no covid 19 measures this year, and new students may participate live in the many activities and parties on the campus and in Wageningen during these six days.

Joris Krol, AID committee chair, reports that 2230 participants have registered. Two hundred mentors will support these new students during the week, focusing on the theme SPOT ON. Krol is enthusiastic: ‘It’s going to be an epic week laden with fantastic activities that enable the new students to get to know the city, the university and student life in record time!’

Programme AID 2022

A number of regular programme components are featured each year. These include the Campus Games, the Sing-along on Campus. Much more is organised: AIDrinks, Study day, Workshops, safeTEA escape room and the closing festival on 24 August. Also the street theatre in Wageningen city centre returns.
