Emerald article quota reached
We have reached the annual article quota with Emerald. For the remainder of 2022, authors will have to pay Article Processing Charges to publish open access in an Emerald journal. In 2023, you can use new vouchers for free open access publishing.
Article Processing Charges with 10% discount
You can still publish Open Access in Emerald journals. However, you'll have to pay the regular Article Processing Charges (APCs). You can claim a 10 % discount on the APCs. The discount applies to the Emerald hybrid and to their full open access journals. New vouchers for fee-free open access research articles will be available from January 2023.
WUR Journal Browser
With the WUR Journal Browser you can select another journal to publish your article open access. The Journal Browser contains journal information on more than 41,000 journals. You can use it to check if a specific journal is part of an open access agreement and if it offers any discounts on APCs. The Journal Browser also provides journal metrics, journal citations and publications by WUR staff, and information on self-archiving options.
