English Presentation & Performance (face-to-face)

Target group

The course English Presentation & Performance is aimed at bachelor's and master's students who want to improve and practise their oral presentation skills.

B2 and up (CEFR)

Course content

The course focusses on presentation skills in an academic context. You learn how to:

• structure presentations;
• best visualise ideas;
• make your presentation interactive and to engage the audience;
• use your voice to deliver your presentation clearly and confidently.

You will be invited to practice presentations in groups, to evaluate your own performance, receiving specific feedback on how to develop further.

Admission requirements

For this course is an OOPT score of 70 and higher required. You can apply for the online OOPT by emailing us at into@wur.nl.

Dates and times

This course is offered annually in February, April/May and September.

If you would like to take this course but it is either full or does not list a starting date that suits you, please click here and you will be notified once you can sign up for new dates.

Location

You follow the course at our location: Forum, Wageningen Campus.

If circumstances dictate this, the face-to-face course may be taught entirely online.

Number of meetings

8 classes of 1 hour and 45 minutes per week.

Self-study

2 to 3 hours per week.

Course materials

Participants will have access to Brightspace, where all the required materials will be available.

Certification

To receive a Wageningen in'to Languages certificate, a minimum attendance of 80% is required.
