Genetic network quantification and simulation

The way organisms react on media and how they produce their products depends on the active gene network in the system. Micro array data cover information about the interaction between genes in the system. Now, we are developing methods to elucidate the gene-gene interaction and also to quantify the strength of interaction. After quantification of the interaction networks will be simulated and the potentials for network control investigated. At this moment the work is focussed on fungal systems, and there are several possible thesis subjects.
