High Quality Solanaceous Vegetables by Exploration of Natural Biodiversity (IndoSol)

(i) to explore the biochemical diversity present within the wild and cultivated pepper germplasm using metabolomics technologies and (ii) to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying the production of flavour‐ and health‐related metabolites in pepper, by linking expression profiles and sequence polymorphisms of selected candidate genes with metabolic data.
