Product perception in context
- At launch, the context of product presentation becomes very relevant for product perception and appreciation. Context-induced emotions can and should be matched to products.
- With the help of emotional assessments, a new effective dimension can be added to your products.
Aim
To test if the effective projection test is a good emotional assessment tool.
Results
- The presence of flowers affected consumers’ mood.
- Consumer mood affected the emotional appreciation of different photographs. Thus we were able to assess the emotional component of product perception.
