Assistant Professor in Sensor Systems and Precision Agriculture, Dr Munnaf M. Abdul specialises in developing soil and crop sensing systems for open-field agricultural monitoring. With a background in Agricultural Engineering, a master's in Farm Power & Machines, and a PhD in Bioscience Engineering, his work contributes to sustainable farming by addressing challenges such as climate change, resource depletion, and biodiversity loss.
Advancing Smart Agriculture
Munnaf co-leads the Intelligent Agriculture summer course and teaches Control Methods for Biosystems Engineers and Computer Vision. These courses equip the next generation of engineers with expertise in digital technologies, automation, and AI-driven solutions for agriculture.
