Expertise

  • HPLC MS-MS analysis of retinoids and carotenoid-metabolites as well as PUFAs, monohydroxylated PUFA metabolites and eicosanoids
  • Nutritional Biobank: Mice fed different fat diets and diets with different fat content. Various organs, extracted mRNA as well as cDNA for RTQPCR is available and additionally in progress (RTQPCR) and could be shared for cooperation.
  • Reporter cell techniques for RAR, RXR, PPAR, β are available in addition to PPAR-selective target gene detection for in vitro and in vivo experiments.
  • Carotenoid-metabolism and influence on the immune system.
