Description
Issues of global, regional and national observations of forests, agriculture and land degradation have received significant attention in a number of international processes on the political level. They emphasize the needs and are offering opportunities to improve relevance, acceptance, and approaches for global and national land assessments.
This workshop discussed specific examples and case studies to present recent methods and introduce progress to enhance the Earth observations contribution for more detailed and accurate land monitoring.
