AFRICA DAY
Tuesday 31 May 2022 at 13:00 h

The varied programme (see attachment) will focus on the relationship between Europe and Sub-Saharan African (SSA) countries particularly in the field of food security; it also covers different aspects of African agriculture in relation to the rapidly growing population and climate change.
There will have two parts.

In the first part UCAS will be welcoming three Ambassadors (The Republics of Cameroon, Rwanda and Uganda, the Honorary Consuls of Sierra Leone and Guinea). Highlights of the event are discussions around AU/EU Partnerships and Food Security in sub-Saharan Africa.

The second part, from 18:30 hour, will be festive with a taste of African dishes, entertainment and exchanges of views among participants.
Between the two parts, drinks and bites will be offered.
We hope to see many of you during this day of discussion with our African friends.
