Social impact methodologies
Development of ex-ante and/or social impact methodologies. The student identifies the various ex-ante and M&E methodologies that are used for measuring impact for energy interventions. Methodology and/or a step by step approach will be developed that can be used by FACT to carrying out an impact assessment of the FACT projects.
For this assignment (internship or master thesis) FACT foundation is looking for an highly motivated student in the field of Communication and Innovation studies or Education and Competence studies, and with a background in energy and/or technological innovation.

Supporting FACT with improving their assessment framework
Procedures
- Carry out a desk and literature study
- Design of a methodology
- Linkage with the various FACT projects
- Set up a pilot assessment for one of the FACT projects

- Preparation of a proposal
- Learning how to work in a bioenergy company
- Combining a desk study with the practice of the projects
- Designing a tailor made methodology
- Writing an MSc thesis (and preferably a article for a journal) in English

Possibly in one of our projects in developing countries.
