The notes of De Man
De Man, of whom many original drawings are presented on this site, was used to study at least a part of his nematodes alive; in doing so he made notes regarding the movement and morphology based on several specimens. A part of his original notes are still present. The names, as presented here, are the names as used by De Man.
The notes refer to:
Cyatholaimus, Anoplostoma, Linhomoeus lepturus, Sphaerolaimus hirsutus, Monohystera stenosoma, Terschellingia, Comesoma (y), Oxystoma, Terschellingia filiformis, Aegialoalaimus elegans, Thalassoalaimus tardus, Monohystera met de Trefusiastaart (with the Trefusia-tail), Chromadora met den grooten bulbus (with the large bulbus).
