Student Earth and Environment
Prior Education: Land and Water Management, Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences
Before I started this Master’s I did the Bachelor’s Land and Water Management at Van Hall Larenstein in Velp. During those four years I did internships at Grontmijn and HydroConsult, did the major Hydrology, graduated at Acacia Water and did a minor at Wageningen University.
This minor functioned as pre-Master’s and consisted of a study program that I had organised together with the Study Advisor of the Master’s Earth and Environment. During the minor I took a liking to the University and the excellent student life in Wageningen, so much so that I decided to do my Master’s here as well.
The first year of my Master’s has flown by: I have learned a massive amount and had even more fun. The courses are very interesting, there is a great deal of freedom in choosing courses and there are incredibly neat excursions (to among others Spain and Iceland). Beside that, the ambiance at the University is good and the student life is very nice. I would not have wanted to miss this!
