Testimonial Xunyi Ku

My friends and housemates where not overly enthusiastic about their thesis. Their stories made me cautious about what to expect for my own thesis. Even my first meeting with my supervisor contained a small warning, the subject for my thesis was not an easy one. However from the moment I started reading, I found myself showing more interest in the topic than for most of the courses I had followed the years prior.

At the start of practical work, I was excited to start and found out quickly that it was totally different from what happens during courses. I had to figure out a lot, fortunately for me if there were any questions, everyone was available to help out. The culture at LMA provided me with confidence to perform my practical work, knowing that I could ask for help whenever I needed.

When my thesis eventually came to an end, I found that time flew by really fast. I really enjoyed my time at Nematology. My thesis taught me a lot and I’m thankful for everyone at LMA that helped out. I even found out that I’m excited for my future master thesis and what that will bring.
