We are looking for a Project Controller Back Office for the Environmental Sciences Group (ESG) at Wageningen University & Research (WUR). As a project controller back office, you will be the key link in the team, supporting Project Control colleagues in organizing and executing all financial and administrative tasks related to their project portfolio.

As a project controller back office, you will be part of the Finance & Control (F&C) department. Your workplace will be on the vibrant campus of Wageningen University & Research, the most sustainable and innovative campus in the Netherlands. Your qualities

  • You have a completed MBO or HBO degree, preferably in finance and/or business administration.
  • You have experience in preparing financial reports, invoicing, and journal entries, and you are proficient in modern applications, especially Excel.
  • You have a strong focus on quality and results, and you are used to working with deadlines.
  • You enjoy variety in your work and have the ability to persuade and connect through effective communication.
  • Other key competencies include precision and accuracy, problem-solving skills, excellent planning and organizational abilities, as well as a proactive and initiative-driven mindset.
  • You are social and communicative, with strong verbal skills: fluency in Dutch is required, and proficiency in English is a plus.

Additionally, a contract for 0,8 fte can be discussed. As for your contract, we initially offer a one-year contract that can be extended - if possible within (company) organizational circumstances - on good performance.
