Do you want to work on the digital workplace of the future? As a Product Owner, you will play a key role in connecting stakeholders, prioritizing complex IT issues and inspiring teams. You ensure that students and colleagues can learn, work and collaborate anytime, anywhere.
Within our IT department – with 200 enthusiastic professionals – we work in multidisciplinary teams on themes such as digitization, self-service, security, data management, high performance computing and cloud strategy. The function:
As a Product Owner, you are responsible for:
- You identify trends, developments and opportunities for improvement in the field of the Digital Workplace
- You will develop the vision and strategy for the team's services.
- You prioritize the backlog to deliver maximum value, based on data and facts.
- You ensure visibility of the team and show what is being achieved.
- You work intensively with stakeholders in a complex environment.
- You monitor costs and manage existing and new SLAs.
- Together with the department manager and scrum master, you ensure a healthy, strong and well-functioning team.
Your qualities
- You have at least HBO working and thinking level;
- You have at least 5 years of work experience working as a Product Owner of Agile infrastructure teams in a complex environment, where you have managed to combine continuity and change
- From an in-depth, substantive knowledge, you are able to define a clear vision of the workplace services;
- You have demonstrable experience in a challenging stakeholder field.

Depending on your experience, we offer a competitive salary of a minimum of € 4,190 to a maximum of € 6,831 for a full working week of 36 hours in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement for Wageningen Research (scale 11/12). In addition, an appointment of 32 hours is negotiable. We offer you an annual contract with the intention of converting it into a contract for an indefinite period.
