The climate is changing. This change can be largely attributed to human interventions. We develop methods and instruments to measure climate change and its effects and to record these measurements in models. We work on knowledge that can help mitigate greenhouse gasses emission, for example, by focusing on reducing methane gas emissions in breeding programmes and animal feed. Moreover, we search for solutions to the effects of climate change through adaptive measures, such as changes in the way landscapes are designed.
