
Student Career Services - Explore your future!
Student Career Services supports you in your orientation on the labour market. We give advise and provide you with a platform to meet employers and explore your wishes and talents through workshops and career events. We are here to support students and recent graduates.
From Monday to Thursday from 09:00 to 17:00 we offer checks of CV, motivation letter, LinkedIn profile and give tips and advice on finding a job or internship. You can make an appointment or just come by, there is no need to sign up!
We publish vacancies, internship positions, graduate programs and other interesting opportunies on Facebook and our Job board outside room 010 in Forum.
We organise several career events. Every month a Talk & Toast, twice a year a Career Day, and tailor-made career events and workshops.
Our activities are free of charge, unless indicated otherwise.

Student Career Services is still here to support you, despite the Corona crisis
Though our office at Forum is not open we still provide fulltime career support to all of you online. Please reach out to us in case you need help with any type of question or concerns related to career coaching or career development. We will get back to your request as soon as possible.

If you have questions about how to find the right career path, personal coaching and reflection: you can schedule a personal meeting with our Career Coach Elizabeth Oenema.
If you have questions related to finding an internship, job, PhD postion or other practical career issues: you can schedule a personal meeting with our Student Career Coordinator Astrid van Noordenburg.

About us
Student Career Services Wageningen University & Research is part of the corporate staff department Education and Student Affairs and provides a platform for students and organisations. Our goal is to prepare the students for the transition from education towards the labour market to the max, and to give employers an entrance to find the best employees for their business. We are experienced in the human resources field and the labour market. We work together with other career support providers, both internally and externally, and we have a large network.

Wageningen University & Research has excellent students in the domain of society and well-being, food, feed and bio-based production, natural resources and the living environment. Student Career Services offers the opportunity to meet these talented students, recent graduates and PhD candidates.
Career Day
The aim of our Career Day is to provide a platform for employers, students and PhD candidates to meet each other. The event is also an ideal opportunity for networking, an excellent chance to find the best employee or employer. The Career Day is focused on the domain of Life Sciences. Over 60 organisations and around 900 students participated in the Career Day on 4 February 2020.
