Arun Pratihast is postdoc researcher in Laboratory of Geo-information Science and Remote Sensing - Wageningen University, Wageningen, The Netherlands. His primary expertise lies in citizen Science, remote sensing, geo-information technologies and mobile application development for environmental monitoring. He has explored innovative ways to combining satellite data and community-based observations for near real-time forest monitoring.
