ENP welcomes Stavros Makris as Post Doc

Stavros Makris is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Social Sciences of Wageningen University & Research, working on blockchain, competition law and food governance. He holds an LLM in European and International Law (2015) from the European University Institute, an LLM in Competition and Corporate Law with Distinction from University College London (2013), an LLM in Philosophy of Law cum laude (2012) and an LLB (2011) from University of Athens. Stavros has practiced law in two leading law firms in Greece and worked as a Teaching Fellow at Sciences Po (2018-2019).

Stavros has published peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on the field of competition law and he is the translator of Hart’s ‘Concept of Law into Greek (Arsenides Publications). He has been a member of the editorial board of European Journal of Legal Studies (https://ejls.eui.eu/) and Applications of Public Law (https://www.nb.org/greek/efarmoges-dimosioy-dikaioy.html) and an external collaborator of Concurrences (https://www.concurrences.com/en/) and Journal of Antitrust Enforcement (https://academic.oup.com/antitrust). His research interests include competition law, legal theory, EU law, law and technology.
