Kelly Rijswijk is a PhD candidate at the Knowledge, Technology and Innovation Group since 2015. Her research is about the digital transformation in agriculture. She provides an organisational perspective, studying for example the influence of digitalisation on knowledge providing organisations and the role of trust in digitalisation processes.
Before starting her PhD she worked as a social scientist at AgResearch, an agricultural research institute in New Zealand. Besides her PhD Kelly is also involved as a researcher in the 4 year EU project called Digitisation: Economic and Social Impacts in Rural Areas (DESIRA) and the GenderSMART EU project. She has furthermore worked on the DaVinc3i Community project, which focussed on the virtualisation of quality controlled logistics in the Dutch floricultural sector.
