Dairy: Animal health management tool
The animal health management tool aims to deliver sound insights in the economics of four common endemic diseases on a dairy farm. Which include: mastitis, lameness, ketosis and metritis. Special attention is given to the implementation and costs of new preventive measures and the potential benefit regarding the diseases costs. All estimations are farm specific and can be used for gaining economic insights in the disease costs as well as exploring the economic potential of applying new management measures and thereby decreasing the disease costs/ incidence.
