Workshop on Sensitivity Analysis of Agent-Based Models

June 19, 2013, a workshop was held on the topic of sensitivity analysis for agent-based models.

Sensitivity analysis is an important tool for analyzing the behaviour of models. Agent-based models and Complex Adaptive Systems display features not shared by other types of models, like path dependency, sensitivity to initial conditions, tipping points, and adaptability of agents. As a result, the applicability of existing methodologies for sensitivity analysis is limited. In the workshop various issues with regard to this topic where discussed, such as:

- Why is sensitivity analysis important for analyzing ABMs?

- How to perform sensitivity analysis when analyzing ABMs?

- What are the bottlenecks for performing sensitivity analysis?

Here you can find the presentations that were given in the workshop as downloadable pdfs.
