Dr. Michelle van Vliet winner of the SENSE PhD Award 2013
During the SENSE Summer Academy the SENSE PhD Award 2013 was presented to Dr Michelle van Vliet on Tuesday 18 June 2013 for her thesis: "Global Rivers Warming Up: Impacts on Cooling Water Use in the Energy Sector and Freshwater Ecosystems".
Three excellent candidates were nominated for the SENSE PhD Award 2013. The level of the candidates and the PhD theses was very high. It was not easy to select a winner. In the end Michelle van Vliet received a slightly higher score from all committee members.
