Nutrition plays an important role in exercise recovery and training adaptation, and general recommendations are formulated for athletes to support optimal performance. It is recognized that nutritional requirements to optimize skeletal muscle adaptation differ between resistance and aerobic exercise. This dossier shows all the research Wageningen University & Research does on sport and nutrition.
