Demand based prototyping of agro industrial chains

This project contributes to making full use of biomass resources and analyses options for a higher efficiency of resource use depending on total demands and the accepted emissions to the environment. It highlights the relation between demand and input requirements in a regional context and illustrates how increased demands can be fulfilled.

Better possibility of advising on optimisation and implementation of biobased crops/biorefinery in agrosystems through modelling input-output relations at higher spatial scales (e.g. regions).

Knowledge of food-feed and non-food interrelationships and the link between demand and emissions.
