VOLANTE, Visions Of LANd use Transitions in Europe
VOLANTE (Visions Of LANd use Transitions in Europe) beantwoordt drie belangrijke onderzoeksvragen:
Producten
Output of the Alterra activities will be a sound overview of empirical evidence of the effects of policies on land use, to be used as a base for roadmapping. Analyses of the determinants of land use transition will be provided, including an analysis of generalisable patterns of land change and its drivers across geographic extent and scale.
The following products will result in 2015:
- Recommendations for relevant policies being developed for EU-27;
- Brochure on VOLANTE Consolidated Visions;
- A PhD thesis is part of the project results, based on 5 scientific papers in peer-reviewed international scientific journals.
