How do we ensure sufficient, healthy, safe and sustainable food for everyone in 2050?

High school students are inspired to choose a subject for their high school paper with which they can contribute to solve the major challenge of the 21st century: How to feed the world? For their paper they do research, guided by Wageningen students and professors. Subsequently, they are asked to issue an advice and engage in conversation with world leaders on their solutions to the world food problem.

On Tuesday 24 April the Wageningen Borlaug Youth Institute will be launched during the opening of the Month of Education. Multiple lectures on amongst other things sustainable education will be given to high school teachers. Moreover, a starters day for high school students who are writing their high school paper will be organised.
