Month of Education – Hoe onderscheid je je van andere studenten?

Month of Education – How to distinguish yourselves from others?

In the context of the Month of Education, ESLOO (European Schools Love Our Ocean) will share their unconventional view on ‘excellence & education’ followed by an elaborate discussion. ESLOO is an initiative aiming for education that creates a sustainability mindset, focusing on students in particular. In cooperation with Socrates Honours Society, the main topic will be how excellence can be achieved through an alternative, ambitious and bold attitude. Which opportunities complementary to your studies exist for working towards excellence? Are you ready for a leap in the dark?

To reach the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) of 2030, a new way of thinking in the generation that is now growing up is needed to fill in the gaps pertaining a sustainable world. ESLOO fills this gap by supplementing education with the creation of a sustainability mindset for its users that then becomes a way of life. Furthermore ESLOO supplies educational facilities with the digital tools to teach their students a mentality that teaches its users to become more sustainable.
Through this mindset young students will think about sustainability in their everyday lives and take into account the effect their own personal actions have on the environment and their futures.

This way a new generation can rise up with new ideals and vision for a better, cleaner and more sustainable planet. And take this sustainability mindset with them throughout their lives and in their jobs as the future leaders of this world.
