The innovation area Sport & Health is becoming more and more important in our strongly urbanized societies. Researching and developing innovations in sport, exercise and play are therefore key towards creating economic as well as societal impact. I am specialised in optimising knowledge intensive environments and have a proven entrepreneurial mindset. Many years of working in management consultancy has provided me insights in a wide range of sectors, in profit and not-for-profit, across the globe. I hold a master’s degree from Wageningen University and have an extracurricular in international communication & innovation studies. After my long career of playing field hockey in high level teams I have been training and coaching high performance hockey teams for over a decade, including the Dutch national boys U16 and U18 field hockey teams. I have also served as high performance director field hockey.
