PromovendusBorn and raised in Austria I studied Food- and Biotechnology at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna and specialized in Safety in the Food Chain in Copenhagen and Vienna.
Growing up on a farm and working in the food industry for more than 15 years gave me the opportunity to live my passion for food safety and quality management. The increasing complexity of the food chain and the challenges accompanying it urged me to find answers to a vital How can we develop and ensure trust along the food chain? For me, risk-based auditing is one key element to the solution and what is the overall topic of my research.
My research is grounded in Data Science, Complex Systems Science, Knowledge Engineering and Management, (Big-) Data Analysis, and socioeconomic approaches.
