Hi all! My name is Lianne and I am in my first year of the master's Animal Sciences at Wageningen University & Research. I did a bachelor's of Applied Sciences, Applied Biology, at Aeres University of Applied Sciences in Almere, The Netherlands. I felt like I was not done studying and I wanted to specialise more after my bachelor's. I chose Wageningen because I also did the minor there and I really liked the quality of the lectures and the atmosphere. I really felt like this would be the perfect place to prepare me more for working in science. I like that there are a lot of international students, which makes it possible to meet a lot of different people and cultures. I also like the fact that you do not only learn the theory but you also learn techniques in practice within almost every course. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions about the university or life in Wageningen.
