The Milk Genomics Initiative is a collaboration between the Animal Breeding and Genomics Centre and the Food Quality and Design group of Wageningen University. The research started ten years ago and has explored genetic variation in milk-quality traits. In those ten years, a wide array of results has been obtained and the highlights will be presented during the seminar.

The seminar will be followed by the PhD defence of Aniek Bouwman at 16 hrs. in the Aula of Wageningen University. The PhD defence of Etske Bijl will be on May 23 at 11 hrs.

Participation is free, and includes coffee/tea and lunch. Please register by sending an email to Lisette Bourquin (Lisette.Bourquin@wur.nl).
