Forum, 16:00-19:00 - Africa is the world’s second largest continent in both population and size. The continent is home to numerous and diverse nations, languages, cultures and traditions. Despite this fact, many people still treat/see Africa as if it were one country - one of the most misconstrued stereotypes about Africa. The aim of this event is to deconstruct dominant narratives of Africa as a single country. This activity will attract diverse distinct speakers and a workshop to engage in deconstructing single/dominant narratives about the continent.
