Dies Natalis: 'Changing environments; Challenges for rural-urban developments'
The 96th Dies Natalis (birthday) of Wageningen UR is celebrated on March 10, 2014. The Dies Natalis celebration and the preceding symposium are dedicated to 'Changing environments; challenges for rural-urban developments.'
The programme of the Dies Natalis 2014 consists of two parts:
- A symposium, from 12.00 PM until 2.30 PM, where ten PhD students present their water related research in short pitches. Introduction by Johan van Arendonk, Dean of Sciences
- The Dies Natalis celebration, from 2.30 PM until 16.30 PM, with speakers Martin Kropff (Wageningen University), Rachel Kyte (World Bank) and Huub Rijnaarts (Wageningen University), followed by the presentation of the Wageningen University Fund Research Award.
