She will explore how the diverse ways people understand, value and interact with non-human worlds give shape to different perspectives on nature conservation, sustainability and conflicts over natural resources. What are the implications of these differences for conceptions of environmental justice and for the work of researchers? What is the value of enhancing our sensitivity to ways of comprehending and experiencing nature that are very different from what we are used to?
