On behalf of the Dutch universities, the Netherlands consulate general in San Francisco and Holland in the Valley, WUR alumni are invited to the US Westcoast Alumni event ‘Toast on the Westcoast’ on 28 January (early 29 January in the Netherlands).

We look forward to proposing a toast to 2021 with you! But before that we have an interesting programme for you which starts off at 8pm PST time with a word of welcome by the Dutch Consul General, Dirk Janssen. We will continue the programme with an inspiring keynote speech by TU Delft alumnus, entrepreneur and TEDx speaker, Onno Faber, who also lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area. During the breakout sessions following the keynote, you will be able to catch up on news and developments from your alma mater. Then it is time to raise the glass to the new year together followed by a digital ‘borrel’ to (re)connect with your fellow alumni in smaller groups.

A more detailed programme can be found below.

Capacity in our digital meeting room is limited, so please sign up ASAP. Deadline for registration is Monday 21 January. You will then receive the Zoom link on the day before the event.
