Breed4Food organises a world café to Explore New Horizons for Safe, Sustainable, and Sufficient food production on October 12, 2015 in Wageningen, the Netherlands.
The Breed4Food research consortium offers an excellent environment, for exploring the most recent insights in science and technology. This enables the Breed4Food partners to improve and to accelerate their efforts to breed animals that comply with market- and societal demands.
Licence to produce goes hand in hand with Safe-, Sufficient- and Sustainable Food production and is key towards the future of animal breeding. Breed4Food is continuously scouting for novel ideas and opportunities to improve animal production from both the societal as well as the business perspective. In the afternoon of October 12, 2015 the “Breed4Food! Exploring New Horizons for Safe, Sustainable, and Sufficient food production” workshop will challenge the participants to put forward and to discuss their ideas to manage animal health in breeding, to manage the image of animal breeding and to attract and to realise research funding, to build a solid foundation for the future of animal breeding.
