Involving all disciplines

To improve our approaches towards preventing diseases, our research communities and policy makers are more and more convinced that we need to consider all kinds of interactions. Interactions between human health, animal health, plant health and the environment, and including climate change, food safety and security, social changes, economic development and trade etc.

This requires novel more intensive interaction between scientific disciplines. The Wageningen University & Research (WUR) Global One Health research theme started in 2015. Since that year we have produced a number of interesting research outputs, but we are also facing important new challenges.
