Angklung is one of Indonesia's traditional and unique musical instrument which is made of bamboo tubes attached to a frame, each has its own notes. Played together, Angklung creates harmonious music that creates peacefulness, like flowing water, in the audience's heart. Angklung, which means “incomplete tone”, since 2010 has been recognized by UNESCO as Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity, encouraging Indonesians to preserve the culture. In this year's One World Week, Indonesian Student Association in Wageningen will once again give free public workshop and afterwards an exclusive Angklung live performance. The workshop will take approximately 30 minutes and the performance will take 10 minutes. Come and join us to experience the unique melodies of Angklung and celebrate cultural diversity of the world!
