The concepts of entrepreneurship and economic development in fragile states are receiving increasing amounts of attention. In this inspiration lecture at ICCO, IS Academy PhD candidate Holly Ritchie will elaborate on the dynamic between (women) entrepreneurs and their environment, how they are affected by their environment and at the same time how they themselves affect the environment. This with a focus on fragile settings.
Dr. Holly Ritchie conducted her research at the International Institute of Social Studies, examining institutional transformation and construction in women’s enterprise development in Afghanistan, and the implications for broader economic development. See her project page for more information.
In principle, participation is limited to invitees. For more information, please send an email to Bart Weijs, the coordinator of the IS Academy.
